Eliot Spitzer did a PHENOM job on Rachel Maddow’s Show last night.  I now find myself scouring the web for anything he’s written or said on the economy since its collapse.  And he’s totally getting added to my google alerts.  As Rachel pointed out, Spitzer’s been talking about the systemic failure of these “too big to fail” corporate banks years before their collapse.  And now, on the pages of Slate, he’s pointing out the where the White House is screwing up on the bailout, without injecting partisan politics.   I think, despite his past indiscretions, Spitzer is clearly an invaluable voice on the economy right now – an issue we’re sure to be talking about for months, if not years.  MSNBC needs to scoop Spitzer up and sign him now!

Check out Rachel’s Intv with Eliot from last night: Part 1 and Part 2
