Roland Fryer…google him

America’s king, as some in the UK are calling him, has arrived back in Washington after a week of brilliant political acrobatics but,

I have one more request…on the education front, Obama needs (obv) to select a team of the best and the brightest.  Number one on my list is rising super duper economic policy star Roland Fryer.  If you haven’t heard of him WIKI him now. You may remember his rather unlikely story of success from Freakonomics.  He’s now working as principal investigator for the American Inequality Lab and his revolutionary ideas on providing a financial incentive to low-income students are already producing promising results.  I’m sure Obama has come across Fryer’s economic-based education philosophy…would be interesting to know where he stands.
