What Obama needs to say tonight to seal the deal:

(The parallel between now and 1980 after the economic crisis of the past 2 weeks is spot on)

Historical note: Before this debate between Reagan and Carter in 1980, President Carter had a slight lead in the polls.  After these closing remarks by Governor Reagan just days before the election, Reagan surged ahead in the polls and the Republican ticket won by a landslide.

  1. There will never be another one like him, and that’s not a good thing. Just my 2 cents.

However, drawing the comparison between him and Obama is not really valid at all, since they are 2 completely different ideology’s. One despised government solutions, the other wants to increase government. I believe the American people will reject that.

A “closing remark” in an Obama speech will not change people’s minds.
