  1. The shift of female Republicans,Independents and swing Democrats away from the Democratic ticket was utterly predictable months ago, hotfiler. Sure, McCain helped it along by selecting a female running mate; but any political analyst with just a modest amount of objectivity should have seen this coming. Women voters supported Bush/Cheney twice and Clinton/Gore twice. Why wouldn’t they support McCain/whoever over a Democratic ticket that got most of it’s support from either Bush hatred or Clinton hatred?

Don’t blame Hillary for having been able to attract those voters. Blame Obama for failing to really reach out and appeal to them.

And don’t think those voters are falling for McCain/Palin because of her body parts. They are falling for the McCain/Palin “maverick”, yet patriotic message.

  2. I agree with Mr. Kelly. It seems like many Hillary supporters were just waiting for an outsider they can relate to who is also tough on foreign policy. Those are two things Obama is weak on.
