Edwards Endorses Clinton!

Well sort of.  If you look at it this way: if Obama is the candidate whom the voters and the party want as their nominee, if Obama has the nomination all locked up, then why hasn’t Edwards come out and endorsed him? Doesn’t it therefore, act as a tacit endorsement for Hillary? Or at least a net plus?  Just asking.

  1. But, to date, more people have voted for Hillary than for Obama. The DNC cannot decide which votes are valid. The states do that. Yes, the DNC can decide which delegations to seat, but no, it can’t overturn any state’s popular vote figures. So, thus far, “the people” (actually a slight majority of the voters to date) want Hillary, and the Party hasn’t met to decide who they want. Therefore, using your logic, Edwards is currently endorsing Obama, well sort of.

However, Elizabeth Edwards quite correctly says that Hillary has by far the better Health Care Plan, so perhaps that’s a Hillary endorsement, well sort of.

    Love match, eh?
